Auction Update Review

A Voyage through Uncertainty

For the week ending Saturday March 15th 18 sales were archived to the AED; 6 denominated in euros, two in British pounds, and 10 in US dollars.  Turnover was a slim $1,636,088 as 5,646 lots were offered and 4,305 lots sold for a 76% success rate.  One gathers that siege engines are being trundled into place for what appears will be an onslaught in April.  Appreciate the quiet for the racket will soon enough be upon us.

Cowan’s, whose sales we have regularly reported by AE for most of ten years, is living through changes in their site and we have not been able to obtain their lot descriptions.  Their most immediate sale, and ending tomorrow, is photography and worth a look.

One of a Kind Collectibles of Miami is also marketing unusual material.  Their sale ends on the 27th.  Rather than describe the sale which is eclectic but serious look them up on the web or run searches in our Upcoming Auction Search to see if they are offering material matching your interests.
