Ten New Catalogues Reviewed In Section Two

Ten new catalogues are up for review this month.

Ten new bookseller catalogues are reviewed in section two of July's issue of AE Monthly. There must be something for everyone. English dealer Bernard J. Shapero offers fifty spectacular (but not inexpensive) illustrated books. From the Netherlands, the Antiquariaat Forum offers books "from Ptolemy to Stuyvesant." William Reese offers ten books illustrated with photography. Chapel Hill Rare Books has an extensive collection of literature, while Between The Covers Rare Books has modern first editions and more. Forest Books offers a collection of bibliography and titles in the book arts from England, while Oak Knoll Books offers similar types of works and more from America. Arthur Clark and Gene Baade both have catalogues focused on western Americana, while Plaza Books offers titles centered on the lands to the south of that border.
