Sixteen New Catalogues Up for Review

New catalogues reviewed.

For June, we have 16 new catalogues up for review. M & S Rare Books has a selection of early American works. The William Reese Company focuses on American manuscripts, while David Lesser Antiquarian Books offers rare Americana. The George S. Macmanus Company hones in on America's greatest tragedy – the Civil War.

Shifting geographically to the south, Plaza Books presents a selection of material relating to Latin America. Alternatively, you could head north to find Bjarne Tokerud, Bookseller's catalogue of Canadian and Arctic material. Heading east or west, you will hit water, the source of material for Ten Pound Island Book Company's maritime works. Or, you could just travel anywhere around the world, the subject for Gert Jan Bestebreurtje Rare Books' catalogue of travel and exploration.

Sophie Schneideman Rare Books presents a collection of works from the Ashendene Press. Whitmore Rare Books offers literary firsts and other notable editions. Martayan Lan has antique maps and plans available. Aleph-Bet Books has another 600 children's and illustrated books to offer. Shapero Rare Books offers a collection of 50 fine books, while Donald Heald Rare Books has many exceptional books and manuscripts. Samuel Gedge Ltd. Rare Books offers a variety of antiquarian material, while Sotheran's presents a miscellany.
