Detective Comics #27 (DC, 1939) CGC Apparent FN/VF 7.0 Moderate (P) Off-white to white pages. Batman made his first appearance in this issue, which features the famous cover by co-creator Bob Kane. The jury is still out whether this issue or Action #1 is the most valuable comic book of all. The two books published by DC are clearly leading Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Books list, with third place lagging far behind. The demand for this issue in any condition has and the limited supply make this professionally restored copy a prize in our auction.
