Lithographed portrait of Roberts, 2 maps, 6 pictorial titles, 121 full-page plates, 120 text illustrations, all tinted lithographs by Louis Haghe after David Roberts, each with paper guards, extra-illustrated with a pencil drawing of the "Island of Philoe" after Roberts tipped-in to Egypt vol. 2; some foxing but generally confined to margins, volume numbers effaced in Holy Land vol. 3 and Egypt vol. 2, plate of "The Ravine" a bit short and "Obelisk of Luxor" spotting on verso showing through in Holy Land vol. 3, a few dampstains in Egypt vol. 3. Contemporary three-quarter brown morocco gilt-ruled, top edges gilt; corners and edges worn, a few scrapes and scuff marks.
