We buy and sell books, maps, photographs and ephemera. Our business was established in 1973. We provide cataloging services for well establish Maine auction houses and conduct appraisals for individuals, corporations, institutions and insurance companies. We seek to constantly upgrade the scope and quality of our stock. We currently do not maintain an open shop and complete most sales via telephone(preferable) or the internet.

We ship at cost with reasonable packing charges. All books are returnable in the condition received with notice within three working days of receipt. We accept returns for any reason you deem appropriate. Kindly contact us for terms to the trade and institutions.

We have no narrow specialties but are ready buyers for books of travel and bindings, as well as books and magazines containing original art. Medicine and forensic science are always of interest. We have purchased many large private and institutional libraries, some exceeding 20,000 volumes.
