-- an old, retired fart who discovered First Editions about two years ago. I enjoy prowling FOL book shelves, library sales, garage sales, estate sales, book fairs and antiquarian fairs, used book stores, Barnes and Noble, and out-of-town bookstores. The enjoyment actually became a mania so that I plan my route among the various sales on Saturday mornings and feel short-changed when there is nothing to visit. I scour the newspaper and websites for author signings and started to avidly research books that I have bought and read. I try to learn something about books every day and try to read one of my copies at least an hour each day.
My books aren't the cheapest but I am usually proud of my offerings (if I am less than proud, I'll try to honestly note the copy's faults) for your consideration. Although I am still learning, I am much more discriminating now than I was in my youth so I will not try to peddle book club editions, remainders or reading copies. There are some books I hate to sell but must to fund my passion somehow. Hopefully, I have found a copy of something that you want or need for your collection.
