We have been dealers in rare & historic newspapers since 1976, and currently serve as consultants to the Freedom Forum Newseum, and are members of the American Antiquarian Society. We have been referenced in The Wall Street Journal, Nicholson Baker's #1 best seller "Double Fold", the New Yorker, The Robb Report, as well as scholarly and historically-themed publications. Our issues have been or are on display at The Civil War Museum (Harrisburg, PA), The Newseum (D.C.), The Stephen Decatur House Museum, Disney World, as well as many other historical museums throughout the country, and are found hanging on the walls of the Supreme Court. We are acknowledged as one of the top collectors and dealers of original and historic newspapers in the world. Although our inventory spans the 16th through 21st centuries, our specialty is in American and British issues of the 17th through 19th centuries, including the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Civil War, and Old West eras. Payment must be made at the time of sale. Returns are accepted for up to 10 days after purchase upon the safe return of the issue for items that are deemed to be "not as described". Once a relationship is established, we do ship with payment to be made upon receipt. All items are guaranteed to be authentic and to be as described.
