The choice selection of books, ephemera, stamps and works on paper includes the following:
An original copy of the Breeches Bible of 1578; a fine, unmutilated copy of Cardanus's 'De Rerum', bound with Mediolanensis Medici Quaedam'; the 16th C medical texts of Gallo's 'Fascis de Pesti', bound with Dryander's 'Artenzei Speigel' and Bertram's 'Rossartzner Darrinen Allerhandt Gebretzen'; a 1771 edition of 'Select Works of William Penn', inscribed by John Reynell; Lilly's 'Christian Astrologie' of 1647; Cramer's 'Unfangsgrunde der Metallurgie' of 1774.
A handwritten journal 'MSS of a Tour Through the South of Ireland in the Autumn of the Year 1841' with copious drawn and clipped illustration; a rare copy of the 1732 edition of 'The Vade Mecum for America, or A Companion for Traders and Travelers'; Ayliffe's 'Ancient and Present State of the University of Oxford'.
Early legal documents including a British Letter of Patent with intact Royal Seal of Victoria; plus the original 1890? photo scrapbook of Princess Margaret Louise of Connaught, grand-daughter of Queen Victoria.
The lifetime collection of Poet Lewis Turco, comprising many signed first editions and chapbooks by great writers, including Frost, Cheever, Pound, Cunningham, MacLeish, Bradbury, Moore, Bishop and many others.
