Pazzo was opened by brothers Brian and Tom Nealon in 2003 in Roslindale Square. Brian had just graduated from college and Tom had arrived at loose ends and, it was generally agreed, was bound to become a nuisance. What better way to occupy their time, fulfill a dream, and enjoy their ambivalent relationship with capitalism than to open a used bookstore?
Pazzo Books stocks approximately 20,000 books in a wide variety of scarcities and subjects. It has always been our aim to be a local bookshop, so we try to carry the sorts of books that people read as well as the sorts that they may collect. Our well stocked fiction sections are as likely to contain Murakami and Heinlein as Marlowe and Hawthorne.
Our rare books likewise run the gamut with strengths in Early American imprints and science and technology.

All items are guaranteed as described. If an item is not as described, it is returnable within seven days of receipt for a full refund including shipping, unless other arrangements are made.
All items returnable within seven days for any reason for a full refund less shipping.
Full refunds given only when items are received in the same condition in which they were sent.
We require new customers to send payment with their order. Customers known to us will be invoiced with payment due in thirty days, unless prior arrangements are made. Institutions will be billed to meet their requirements. All items subject to prior sale.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, checks and money orders. We may require that the check clears before we ship an order.
