Leo Cadogan began working in the antiquarian book trade soon after he finished a degree in modern history at Oxford University, in autumn 1997. In the time since, besides building up a wealth of experience in the choosing and cataloguing of books, he has also been the manager of a central London antiquarian bookshop. In 2000-1 he took an MA in Renaissance studies at the Warburg Institute, University of London. He is a member of the ABA (Antiquarian Booksellers' Association) and ILAB (International League of Antiquarian Booksellers).
