Charles Goldsmid and Robert Allen, individual antiquarian booksellers, each with extensive appraisal experience (and each with a prior career in academic life), jointly offer appraisal services. Our appraisals have ranged from single books and manuscripts to collections of more than 10,000 books and more than 500 linear feet of documents. Appraised valuations have ranged from under $1,000 to over $3,000,000. We are experienced, efficient, and diligent in our work--and our fees, based on time spent, are characteristically modest.
