Randall House was founded in 1975 in San Francisco and the Gonzales-Ramirez historic Adobe, built in 8125, at 835 Laguna Street in Santa Barbara became the new home of a decade later.
Ron Randall grew up surrounded by the world of rare books. His father, David A. Randall, was for many years head of Scribner's rare book department, and later the first Director of the famous Lilly Library at Indiana University.
Randall House is open to the public and prides itself on having something for everyone. Whether you collect 19th century literature, presidential autographs, fine press books & bindings, books & maps about explorations and voyages, books illustrated by famous artists, western Americana or early children's books, you may be certain to find something to interest you.
The fine art department handles only original art of the highest quality. Works by American artists are on display, N. C. Wyeth, Howard Pyle, Edward Borein, Will James, John Falter and many more.

We are always interested in early California items, and particularly Santa Barbara related material, books, documents, photographs, artworks and similar. Particularly etchings, drawings and other works by Edward Borein, Carl Oscar Borg, Maynard Dixon are of interest to our collectors.
