I am a book seller near Buffalo, New York with over 40 years experience. I deal in fine or unusual books and have a special delight in American manuscript material such as ledgers of furniture makers, tinsmiths, blacksmiths, or other craftsmen. Also river steamboat logs, whaling logs, military diaries and letters from all wars, especially the Civil War and the Revolution. Letter collections are of interest especially if they form a story of a business or town or family. Early manuscript cookbooks are of special interest as are records of Gold mining in the west, exploration in the West and Canada, written descriptions of Indians,pre-fire Chicago.
